Activity Reflection and Reporting

Activity Reflection:

  • At the end of each shift, have staff reflect on the activities of the day:
    • What worked well?
    • Were all dogs engaged at an appropriate level?
    • Did any dogs show signs of over- or under-stimulation?
  • This reflection process helps staff improve activity planning and adapt to the changing needs of different dogs.

Daily Activity Reports:

Train staff to create quick daily reports for each dog, noting their activity levels, engagement, and any behavioral observations. These reports can inform the next day’s activities and ensure each dog’s specific needs are being met consistently.
